Congratulations to the Gamecocks and coach Spurrier for an outstanding season finishing at a new school record at 11-2!
After Stephen Garcia departed and Marcus Lattimore went down with a season-ending injury half-way through the season, no one thought finishing 11-2 was even possible. The coaches and players stepped up big time. Even after defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson and running backs coach Jay Graham left before the bowl game, things could have unraveled but not this Gamecock team. They fought the Cornhuskers tough in the first quarter and then the defense took over and held Nebraska scoreless for the last three quarters.
Enjoy the win and a record-setting season Gamecock fans!

I wanted to go to the bowl game but didn't make it. I watched on TV though and the COCKS were awesome!
WE SHOULD BE GOING FOR 12 WINS NEXT YEAR!
