THE GOOD
The Gamecocks defense held the Vanderbilt offense to 77 total yards and 5 first downs. That includes 4 net rushing yards and 6 sacks. Jadeveon Clowney was stellar with 2 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.
THE BAD
The Gamecocks offense struggled most of the night. Garcia threw a career-high four interceptions, completing 16-of-30 passes for 228 yards and one touchdown.
THE UGLY
South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia had some ugly passes, 4 to be exact that fell into Vanderbilt defenders' arms. They were bad throws even admitted by Vandy "While Garcia gave VU some gifts with bone-headed throws, the Commodore secondary deserves a lot of credit. "
If South Carolina is going to have a big year, the Gamecocks will have to start looking like a great team now, with Auburn coming into town this weekend on national television. It is now or never.
